History of Diamond Custom Homes, Inc. 

 

Jim Willis has been building in the Houston area for more than ten years. He is a native Texan, born and raised in Houston. He is a third generation homebuilder. Jim’s great aunt, Faye Parker, started building in Houston back in 1954. At the time she was one of the first registered women builders in the city of Houston. Eventually her sons joined the family business and named the company Parker & Parker Builders. James Parker, Jim’s uncle, taught him how to build houses, before he retired.  

Jim has been successfully self-employed since the age of 18 and has sold two previous businesses that he started from scratch. In the late 90’s Jim and his wife, Michele, formed Diamond Custom Homes, Inc and began building custom homes. Together they build quality custom homes in and around the Houston area. Recently they have since moved out of the million dollar listings in Bellaire/West University and are focusing on the 400k and under homes in the Rice Military, Heights areas. 

Most weekends you can find the two of them racing around Texas, either running marathons, paddling on the Colorado River, or mountain biking. They are heavily involved in physical activities and enjoy teaching adults the skills of mountain biking. Work hard and play hard is the motto they live by.
